Andy was born at a very early age and is convinced to this day that this was a vital career move.

After finishing school and college, he left school and went to work as an engineer for a manufacturing company that made things. He made an immediate impact and the company soon began to flounder. He decided that he wanted to become a full time artist and somehow ended up enrolling on a three year degree course in computing. ..

By the time he reached the second year of his course, he had progressed well and was capable of switching virtually any computer on single handedly, without any help from anybody else. In his third year, his lecturers began to realise that if he failed the year, he would be back again the following year for a fourth year. He subsequently graduated a few months later. ..

.... Painting wise he is mainly self taught and enjoys learning new techniques. Currently he is concentrating mainly on portraiture and is developing a painting style which is edging towards realism.
